Rules and Regulations – Guest Version
The sponsoring member is fully responsible for the conduct of their guests. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that all guests are familiar with the rules of the club.
2. Lifeguards and Managers have the ultimate authority at the club. Failure to follow directions will result in removal of the individual from the facility. Lifeguards and other Club staff may “bench” any youngster for minor infractions of these Rules. Parents may not override staff decisions.
3. All guests or members using the facility do so at their own risk.
4. Glass containers are prohibited on pool property. No food or drink allowed on grounds except water.
5. Basic pool rules: PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR AND MUST SUPERVISE CHILDREN!
a. No running on the pool deck or into the water.
b. No deliberate splashing, diving over others, wrestling, spitting, dunking or pushing.
c. No hard balls allowed in the Club.
d. No scuba gear.
e. No water guns or any toy that squirts water except a spray bottle.
f. No backwards jumping into the pool.
g. Swimming is prohibited unless a lifeguard is on duty.
h. No hanging on ladders or steps.
i. Rough or dangerous play is not permitted
j. Non-swimmers must be within arms length of a capable swimmer when in water over his/her head.
k. No rafts, inner tubes permitted except at the discretion of the manager.
l. Do not play or loiter in the “canal” between the main pool and baby pool.
m. When the lifeguard sounds the air horn, evacuate the pool immediately. Listen for instructions and stay out of the way of rescuers.
n. Children under 3 years of age must wear rubber pants at all times while on pool grounds.
6. Deep Water Tests:
All persons under the age of 12, or any other swimmer at the discretion of the lifeguards, must pass a deep-water test before using the slides or deep end of the pool. A badge or bracelet will be issued to any swimmer who passes the test. The badge or bracelet must be worn at all times while in the pool and is NOT transferrable to another person.
7. Baby Pool:
No one over the age of 7 is permitted in the baby pool except parents. Lifeguards will not be posted at the Baby Pool. Children using this facility must be closely supervised by a capable swimmer who will be responsible for the conduct and safety of the children being supervised. The responsible person must be at the baby pool. Management reserves the right to remove any unsupervised swimmer.
8. Slides:
a. Only one person is permitted on the slides and ladders at one time.
b. Sliders can not slide until the previous slider has moved to the ladder and exited the pool.
c. Slide feet first on your back only. Head first sliding is unsafe and not permitted.
d. Swim away from the slide immediately after entering the water.
9. No alcoholic beverages, weapons or illegal drugs allowed on premises. Smoking/vaping allowed in
